The Woburn Historical Commission, in partnership with Freedom's Way, will present "Woburn's Road to Revolution" on Saturday, May 16th, from 12pm to 3pm, at the Battle Road Conservation Area in Woburn. The program will include guided walking tours along a portion of Old Lexington Road, which still remains preserved much as it was in the 18th century. The Woburn Militia traveled this road on their way to Lexington, answering the alarm on April 19th, 1775. Reenactors in period dress will be portraying historical characters at Tarky Park, 256 Russell St., Woburn MA, 01801, where the tours begin at 12 noon. The tours are free and open to the public with free, off street parking.
